Research Interests: My research focuses on understanding how protein structure and function is regulated by nucleotide binding and salts.  Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) difference spectroscopy, along with other spectroscopic and biochemical techniques are used to investigate the Escherichia coli protein, RecA and the yeast protein Phosphoglycerate Kinase.
