Building a Molecule
We are going to build the acetone molecule. In order to do this we will need to open a new file. Once this is accomplished we can proceed with the exercise.
We can start by clicking on the different atoms and the different coordinations that are given to the right of the viewer. After you choose the type of atom that you would like you must click in the viewing window for the atom to appear. The figure below shows how the screen should look after choosing a four coordinate carbon.
From here you will want to attach the necessary atoms to the open valences on the carbons to complete the molecule.
