The inner and outer scintillation detectors have 1 ft fiber leads to provide the optical connection for the flashers. These leads should have a flasher board attached and secured before being placed in the backbone. The special internal flasher cable has two connections at one end. The connections are inner detector first and outer detector second. Be sure to attach in the proper orientation. There are no keys on the flasher board and an improper connection will result in a destroyed flasher on power up. (See other discussions on previous page.)  The connection to the lid is as shown below. The lid connection is keyed on the inside of the lid so there is only one available orientation.
