Our students, their friends and family, and the faculty gather each spring to recognize the efforts and the promise of those among our students who really seem to understand what physics is all about. Most of these students have been active in research with our faculty in addition to their high academic achievements. Among the students you will hear about this evening are those who have excelled in research both at JMU at at other institutions. All have excellent academic standing and by working hard have achieved success well beyond the classroom. The faculty are proud to recognize these accomplishments.
