Lori Jackson kicks off the session after the break with "Production off Polarized, Scintillating Targets to be Used in the HIGS Project." Winston Hensley discussed "Randoms Counter Analysis," and Joe Hardcastle presents his paper titled "Electrical Characterization and Torsion Properties of Carbon Nanotubes." Lok-Kun Tsui presented his work on "Sample Fabrication for the Study of Carbon Nanotubes." Next came Bruno Caputo discussing "The Promotion of Au Adhesion on Polymer Surfaces Using Polyhedral Oligomeric Silsequioxane." Grant Entwhistle presented "Who Ordered That? Constructing a Simple Muon Detector." The final speak of the symposium was Ralph Herman presenting his work on "Shear Stresses in a Water/Sand System Partially Fluidized by Low-Intensity Vertical Vibration." |
