Currently, I work on developing various spectroscopic methods for characterization of fundamental plasma parameters in asymmetric coaxial discharges.
Electron temperature, electron density, and the populations of the metastable states in argon can be determined by applying the intensity ratio of two spectral lines in argon (at 419.8 nm and 420.1 nm) in combination with plasma kinetics.
